Drama Club for Grade 1

Become part of this year’s musical production: Mary Poppins Jr.! Get ready to Step in Time into the musical based on the beloved  film!

NOTE:

• A student and parent contract must be signed and turned in at auditions

• Any G2-G12 student is welcome to audition, regardless of experience

• G1 students will all be cast as Honeybees and will begin rehearsing in the Spring.
• Audition information will be released by Mrs. Simmons directly
• There are opportunities for speaking, singing, and/or dancing roles
• All students who audition will be cast
• Not every student will be needed at every rehearsal
• Students will rehearse Monday-Friday during the week leading up to the performance.
• Occasional Friday rehearsals in the Spring are required
• Students are required to attend all shows - Saturday, May 2^nd at 1:00 and 5:00 

• Tech Crew: Tech crew begins in March. There is a $25 fee to join the tech crew. Students must be in G5-G12.

Dates-October 28-February 19 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, February 24-April 24 on Tuesday, Thursdays, and Fridays, April 27-May 1 M,T,W,TH,F

and two performances on Saturday May 2. 

**Auditions are 10/21-10/23, first rehearsal is 10/28, and the shows are Saturday, May 2, 2026
