LEGO Robotics: Crazy Carnival Games and Quirky Creations
This camp will develop your students' understanding of energy, energy transfer, and collision while also enhancing their engineering design skills. They will explore the relationship between energy and speed, anticipate the outcomes of energy changes during a collision, and predict how energy moves from place to place. As they investigate energy conversion (potential and kinetic), they’ll design and test solutions that convert energy from one form to another, refining their approach to improve functionality. Along the way, students will hone their problem-solving abilities by defining problems, brainstorming solutions, and creating prototypes with constraints. They'll also improve their skills in evaluating and refining ideas by identifying failure points and success criteria, while comparing and modifying solutions—all while designing their own quirky creations and carnival-style games.
