Description

The Knight School (TKS) Chess Team is The Clariden School’s official team - their unique Chess Party approach turns beginners into strong, confident players, helping kids grow both on and off the board. In this kid-centered classroom environment, students will learn every cool trick, strategy, and tactic in chessdom, and also learn to love and master chess, their classroom, sports, and their home lives as well!Upon enrollment, new students receive a TKS T-Shirt, chess set, chess bag, and all the colorful TactixBands they can earn! Students also get access to an online platform to practice and play between weekly classes, helping them sharpen their skills.
Tourna-Parties (May & Dec) – local teams compete for the championship.
National Online Tourna-Party - with grade-level tournaments and a final match to crown the national champion!
